The museum's workshops are opportunities to discover time measurement techniques and the MIH collection in a fun and creative way. They are organized at any time, by prior reservation, or on fixed dates.
Museum Workshops
Intended for young visitors between the ages of 6 and 14, the museum's workshops offer a fun and educational occupation. They are organized on fixed dates or at any time, upon prior request to the museum secretariat. Seven workshops, lasting approximately 1h30-1h45, are offered to children allowing them to build an object that they can take home at the end of the activity (except Rhabille ta pendule and Totem du Temps).

Whether you are a teacher looking for an activity for your class or an individual wishing to offer a fun activity to your child, our workshops are designed for you! How much does it cost? CHF 10.- per child (minimum CHF 80.-) (Schools of La Chaux-de-Fonds: according to agreement). Treasure Hunt
A treasure hunt allows children to discover the museum in a fun way. A competition for all young visitors allows them to explore the entire museum in search of items as diverse as a sword, a boat, a dragon or even Minnie or Snowy. Each year, a draw is made and the winners are awarded a prize.
Contour Hunting
Through this horological challenge, the young visitor discovers the museum by mobilizing his faculties of observation and his artistic talents. Using the “time and more” book and the map provided, the visitor goes in search of certain watches in the museum, completes the various missing details and answers questions. Each year, a draw is made and the winners are awarded a prize.
“Les Barons” Treasure Hunt
Treasure hunt in the checkerboard city and in the museums.
In the footsteps of your watchmaker ancestor who had his watch stolen, will you be able to identify the culprit and recover the timepiece that changed your family's history? Live an adventure through the museums of La Chaux-de-Fonds and the emblematic places of watchmaking town planning.
Treasure hunt for groups and families. From 1 to 6 players.
Departure: International Watch Museum, History Museum or Museum of Fine Arts.
Groups - 10 players must register with Neuchâtel Tourism.
