The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Closed on Mondays, January 1st, December 24th, 25th and 31st. The museum is open on Easter and White Mondays. Charges for admission for adults, children, families, groups and guided tours. Euros accepted.

This ticket allows you to visit the Musée des beaux-arts, the Musée d'histoire, the Musée paysan et artisanal and the Muzoo. The ticket is valid for 2 consecutive days.

Every ticket also offers discounts by five partners: Maison blanche, Musée des beaux-arts du Locle, Musée d'horlogerie du Locle, Moulins souterrains du Col-des-Roches, Tourisme neuchâtelois - Montagnes (Small train and guided tour on schedule).

From October to March, the museum is pleased to open its doors free of charge, every Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon.

When accompanied by their teachers, pupils and students from the following schools in Neuchâtel benefit from free admission at all times: Compulsory schools, secondary schools, vocational schools, colleges and university.
Students from the canton of Neuchâtel are also admitted free of charge, on presentation of their student card.

To allow people of modest means to visit the museum when its entrance price could be dissuasive, the MIH offers “suspended tickets”. Any visitor can buy a ticket for the attention of a future poor visitor. The MIH thus intends to offer an alternative to the renunciation of certain audiences for financial reasons.
