There is wheelchair access to all the sectors of the permanent exposition. Only the gallery and the belfry are not accessible.

Subject to availability, a wheelchair can be borrowed for the duration of a visit (cannot be booked in advance). 

Animals are not admitted into the museum, with the exception of dogs belonging to visitors with restricted sight.

  • Umbrellas and backpacks should be left in the cloakroom.
  • The museum declines all responsibility in the case of theft or damage.
  • Lockers (H 40cm x W 40cm x D 47cm) are available in the entrance hall.
  • A larger piece of luggage can be stored for the duration of the visit, on the condition that there is enough room available. Please speak to the staff at the reception area.
  • Bikes, scooters, roller skates and other devices are not allowed in the museum.
  • Cash: CHF and EUR (notes only, return change in CHF)
  • Credit cards: most of the usual credit cards are accepted.
  • Cheques: REKA cheques only (no return change)

Cash machines are available near the museum, on the main street, Avenue Léopold-Robert.

  • It is allowed to eat and drink only in the cafeteria.
  • Drinks and snacks are available from a machine.
  • If requested in advance and on certain conditions, a room could be made available to have a picnic. Please contact us.

Photos for private use are allowed, without flash and tripod. Permission to film (for private or professional purposes) can be obtained on request in advance and on certain conditions. Please contact us.

The Musée international d'horlogerie is a non-smoking area (cigarettes and electronic smoking).
