The transition from mechanical watchmaking to electric watchmaking is the product of many prior inventions. The purpose of this workshop is to offer children and teenagers the construction of a fully functional Volta battery, which can power a small lamp, or diode, for about 24 hours. After the construction of the object, the children are invited to follow a brief guided tour on the same theme in the museum.
