It’s not always easy to decipher watch dials! Through this workshop, the MIH offers children the opportunity to create a beautiful colored dial that will help them become familiar with reading the time!

The purpose of this workshop is to introduce young children to reading analog time.

They will create a colorful dial using stencils and their imagination, to which they will attach two hands that they can move.

What is a dial? Why is there a long hand and a short one? What exactly are an hour, a minute, and a second?

These are some of the questions that will be explored to introduce the little ones to the concept of passing time.

The workshop is followed by a guided tour of the museum, offering a colorful overview of the different time display systems. Children leave with their colorful dial.
